This one-of-a-kind upcycled dress was transformed by hand using crochet, deconstruction, and textile distressing. The deep wine-red crochet bodice melts into long, irregular yarn strands that drip down the skirt like dried blood: raw and deliberate.
The contrast between the soft crochet top and the structured, light-coloured base dress creates a haunting silhouette that feels fragile and confrontational at the same time. Every thread was placed intentionally, embracing imperfection as part of the design.
